Please make sure that your VMM line includes the monkey sign: SET DOS4GVM=@RAYMAN.VMC RayMan looks in the RAYMAN directory for the RAYMAN.VMC file. With 16 MB of RAM you won`t need the VMM to render ALESSI.3DS. So please try out to render ALESSI.3DS without VMM. If this works your problem is the VMM. And this is probably the setting of the VMM env. variable. RayMan doesn`t need more conventional memory than 500kb. If you want to run RayMan in a Peer to Peer network please think about the following: RayMan has to be in one directory (the Server). Every machine must have read/write access to this directory with the SAME letter. The temp. file must be on different drives/directorys for each machine.
