Lets say I have $5000 to get into 3D Studio with. I have a P90 with 32 megs RAM, 3 Gigs HD, and a Stealth 64 VRAM PCI card. I will be creating SF-oriented animations (initially) for our magazine. I already have Vistapro and Visual Reality to create most simple objects and landscapes with. What should I spend the $5000 on? I assume the first $3500 would be on 3DS 🙂 For that matter, will $5000 be enough to start?
