V, I've purchased several big ticket items through CUS, and have had no
problems (knock on wood). My impression is that CUS is really nothing more
than a middleman for a large number of smaller firms around the country; your
order comes in one end, and they send a purchase order and debit statement out
the other. I agree completely that CUS' failure to notify you of both the
credit foulup and late shipment is inexcusable, tho. For my own part,
everything I've ordered has been received within 30 days (often much less) and
I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.
