#DTP gone bad!
[Continued]
I don't know–perhaps I take it all too seriously. But it pains me–a
lot–to see a technology that is supposed to release an individual's
creativity and power of expression so abysmally abused. What looked good,
and cost a total of about $1100 the first time around, looks horrible and
will cost anywhere from two to three times as much the second time around.
The person supervising the corporate communications department? Suggesting
to her that perhaps something is amiss would be tantamount to telling her
that maybe her ego should take a flying leap, and I suppose that if they're
willing to pay for it that I should just keep my mouth shut.
It's not that they don't know what good work looks like–they do, and
routinely demand it from us and other vendors. It's just…it's
just…hell, I don't know *what* it is.
Anyway, thanks for letting me get it out.

BTW, Steve, it was great to finally get to talk to you today. Thanks for
everything…
