[Continued] I have a consulting business and have never had a client resent my pointing out deficiencies in the system because I _never_ just point up the problems. I always try to offer a solution or suggest an alternative. The alternatives may not include any direct benefit to me. Because my clients believe that I have _their_ best interests in mind, they have never questioned my objectivity, frequently saying they _prefer_ to work with me even when I'm _not_ the optimal solution!
