I have a lot of sympathy for you rant! I'm glad you had this opportunity to
get it off your chest.
One phenomenon I've observed is that the very same person who demands
absolute perfection from an external typesetter, loses all perspective when
judging his or her work. It certainly sounds as though the pharmaceutical
company has selected a novice (based on the number of calls made to you).
Perhaps they don't realize how much of a novice.
