If you don't already use Add/Strip, I'd recommend it for de-Macifying
files, Jon. It only works on text files, but you can set up 9 different
translation, which should be enough to get most of the common high-bit Mac
characters stripped or converted. (I have to use it here to make sure I'm
uploading text files that can be used on all platforms and can be read
on-line.)
