Thom – Fontographer will already allow you to create a font condensed in that manner. The problem with mechanically condensing type is that it distorts the balance between the verticle and horizontal strokes. Hopefully, Metamorphisis will allow you to capture the outline, condense it, then correct the strokes — that would be really useful.
