HD Drives/Bridgeboard

hi y'all
I was wondering if anyone uses a DKB High Density drive with an Amiga 386
Bridgboard. I have an A3000, and finding internal HD drives is next to
impossible. I want to be able to read MS DOS HD disks, and need to know if the
DKB is compatible? Does anyone know? Thanks, Jamie

I don't know what brand my high density drive is, but I got a 3000 high
density replacement drive from my dealer and put it in an Amiga 2000HD as
a 1.76MB DF0:, a 1.44MB PC0:, or a 1.44MB B: drive. Flipper works with
it. The system has a 386 Bridgeboard.

Thanks for the info on the high density drive. I cannot believe that you found
a HD drive for an A3000, you have a really impressive dealer. I could not find
one for the life of me. Can I assume that your HD is internal? I wonder…have
you ever heard of anyone buying an external, connecting it to the drive input
on the bridgeboard and have it work? The Bridgeboard instructions were pur

My high density drive is internal in the DF0: position in my Amiga
2000HD which now has a GVP G-Force 030 (25MHZ) with MMU now installed. We
got the Amiga 2000HD on an educational discount way back when.
The bootup ROM routines detect the high density drive which is the same
drive that goes into an Amiga 3000. I edited the mountlist script to be
consistent with my system configuration.
Commodore seems to be out of business. I don't know what to tell you.

TEAC makes a dual HD floppy drive, that is 3.5 & 5.25" drive that fits in the
original 5.25 bay and sells for around $100.
greetings…. I have a A2000 with a 40 meg GVP hard drive. It is really flaking
out. Seems like it likes to spin down, but will spin up occationally on demand.
I am looking for another drive, but sure would help the budget to use this for
awhile longer. Anyone had this symptom?
