Ron, I have finally put Novell DOS 7 on the bridgeboard. It solves my problem with the Hardcard 40 nicely. It has DOS Mode Protected Interface (DPMI) in the EMM386 manager. DOS loads high. The task manager loads, but I don't have enough memory to exercise it (perhaps I have an excuse to upgrade the BB from 5 meg to 8 meg?). There is a virus protection program that comes with it. The INSTALL and SETUP programs work nicely. Wordstar 7 came up rather fast compared to DRDOS 6. WordPerfect 6 for DOS works in text and graphics mode. The cache (NWCACHE) is loaded. I left it in the default write-through mode. Stacker has replaced my SuperStor Pro D: drive. Incidently, the Stacker installation will not convert SuperStor Pro drives although it will convert an earlier version. Prior to installation of Novell 7, I spent some time moving files to {|Y(t!{.get enough room and manually removing the SuperStor PRO drive. I also disabled all Janus drives while installing since I had used a few to back i].up files. (Foolish! I should have used regular diskettes just in case JekW,[6ation, once started, went

Thanks; Novell gave me a second chance (ending in June) at the $39.95 upgrade, so I may yet pop.
