HELP – I've been using CIS for years, all of a sudden nothing seems to want to work right with my terminal programs. I have TERM 3.4(030) version and I can't upload any files PERIOD. I am also trying JRCOM Version 1.02a and I can't upload any files with IT, either … I've tried CISB+ and XMODEM with both programs and they BOTH hang and I have to manually turn off my modem. I have correct xpr… libraries in my libs directory. Weird. Anyone suggest a term program which WORKS? This is ridiculous. All these wonderful PD term programs and all brain dead. Thanks.

Daniel, Obvious question first. Can you still download? I use TERM3.4(030) and XPR BPlus. I must admit I haven't tried to upload for ages, but I know downloads still work OK for me. Terry Finney

Daniel, Why aren't you using AutoPilot?? …Steve CBM: The end of an era (or is that error?)

Are you running EPU? I've found that Term doesn't get along with it. If you try to upload an epu-compressed file, it'll get to the last block and then hang.

Daniel, I too use Term v3.4, and had problems UL with CISB+ and CISQB. Then I had the bright idea to strip the eighth bit. Set this in your config options and it should work (at least it did for me <g>).. =>Anyone suggest a term program which WORKS? This is ridiculous. All =>these wonderful PD term programs and all brain dead. Thanks. Well I now use Autopilot and have had not one problem with uploads, or downloads for that matter. You may want to consider picking this up (the demo version is free, and will allow uploads, but is crippled and will allow only one upload a session). This is of course if you do not have it already <g>. Trent "If in doubt, empty the magazine"
