I am trying to install Animator Pro V1.3a and I get a problem with this message.. Can't open screen with driver "C:\ANI\resource\VESA.DRV" 640 x 480 mode 2. Can't deal with object of this dimension. I also get another error.. Can't open screen with driver "C:\ANI\resource\=MCGA.DRV" 320 x 200 mode 0 Driver behaving irrationally. I am dealing with another problem installing 3ds release 3, based on the same situation, but I am asking that question in the 3ds forum. Please let me know how I can clear these problems up. Thank you.

James, It sounds like you are either not loading the proper VESA driver, or are gettng some type of Memory conflict. In your 3DS message you said you selected ET4000 as your video board. Is this the type of VGA card you have? If not, what type of card is it? Also, try removing all your memory managers and TSR's. You mentioned an Abnormal Program Termination. Usualy that is the result of a memory conflict. Strip the system to it's vanilla configuration and see if the problem still happens. -brian

"Can't open screen with driver "C:\ANI\resource\VESA.DRV" 640 x 480 mode 2." If you have Windows, or DOS 6, there is a DOS utility you might try running to make sure you have the right video card selection – MSD. Do this after a fairly plain bootup. If you have a TSENG, Chips&Technology, Paradise, or Video7 chipset in your video card, try running the appropriate vesa driver in the ANI\VESA directory. Delete files in your \PAAT directories. Also delete the ANI\AA.CFG file. Then start ANI and see if selecting the Screensize works okay. As Brian said, there could be a memory conflict, so you may have to boot up PLAIN to see if that's the case. Okay, you can load a mouse driver <grin> but nothing else! Nik
