I am using 3DS r3. Recently I tried to use some of our Type1 font to
create text and I got the error message: "Expecting RD or -I" and
"Type 1 font load failed: -7". What is wrong with our font files? We
know that it works with other S/W which read Type 1 fonts. After 3DS
failed loading font anything I do I would get the memory fault
message: CP:EIP=000Fh:000320DCh
What is the other software that reads those fonts? That message means
that there is a problem with that pfb file. If you want to talk to
the font expert about it, Paul Lind is the guy and he frequents this
forum. He could tell you exactly what's wrong with that font.
(and he's probably also got a good one that'll do exactly what you
need)
