#NLE Suggestions–LOST!
6 messages in this thread
Aaagh! I was reading a couple responses to my post on NLE Editor suggestions
made over the weekend when the phone co. cut off service in my area for an
hour!!! When we got service back, I went back online only to find I'd lost the
messages I'd been reading (I'm using DOSCIM 2.1.3, which scrolls off all
messages in the forum the last time you were on the next time you're on).
Could anyone who commented to me on this over the weekend please repost?
Thanks,
Tim Liebe

Yes, I've already gotten it. Thanks a million!

Tim,
Although I'm new to Compuserve, I did find a neat trick to overcome your
message problem. Every time you visit a forum, the message *counter* is set to
tell the software the number of the last message you read. To defeat this
(temporarily), choose *Messages* from the pull-down menu and then select *Set
Date*… You can then give it a date before you last signed on.
Hope it works for you,

Thanks for the tip! I'll give it a try,
