Hi Greg,
Can you advise me on a good method of upgrading my Quadra 900? Currently have
a stock Q900 with 20 megs of Ram and two harddrives, a 160 and 1 gig. I run
pro-level music software, including Digidesign digital audio stuff on an
AudioMedia II card, and may soon get their Session 8 or ProTools hardware.
Whatever accelerator or PPC card I get must be compatible with the above.
Since I still like my Q900 so much, I intend to upgrade it vice sell and go for
a stock PPC.

Currently, we offer the 80 MHz PowerPro card and the 100 MHz PowerPro card.
The StarPrices are $1899 and $1799 respectively. The 80 MHz version allows for
RAM expansion.

As with any processor or System software upgrade, you will have to check with
each vendor of additional cards, periphrials, and software about specific
compatiblitlies.
By now, most companies offer PPC upgrades for existing software/hardware that
was not PowerPC compatible prior. These upgrades and their policies differ
widely, so check with each vendor.
