#bounce at end of paths

I notice that when I set keyframes for an object that it will often "bounce" at the ends of its path. For example, an object will back up a little before moving forward or overshoot its ending point before bouncing back to a rest. This seems to happen on all types of keyframe changes including a camera lense going wide angle a bit before it zooms. This could be a nice effect on occasions but most of the time I don't want it. How do I prevent this from happening? Thanks in advance to all who can help.

This has been discussed a few times here before, and the key to proper path movement is in how tS works the path spline. Right clicking on the path tool will reveal spline properties for paths. You can set movement, rotation and scale properties, either Sharp, Smooth and Very Smooth. These properties are very important to learn and know to make paths work the way you wish. They are also covered in the manual on pg. 21. Ian
