Good customer service!

Melissa, two items:
1) I want to commend you on one of your phone sales reps…. sorry I
didn't get here name, but you can check whoever took my order on 1-15-93
for B&P upgrades and that's her. Anyway, I'm sure I sounded like a real
complainer on the phone (I didn't mean to), but she kept right on being
polite and explaining it all. Very professional person!
2) the reason I probably sounded like a complainer was that I brought up
how I was disappointed that there was no 'deal' (ie. cheaper upgrades,
free SJ extras, etc) for those of us who purchased the various add-on
modules for B&P, now that many of them (the most useful at least) are
automatically included in the B&P package. I sort of felt that I had paid
for all of them, and now everyone gets them for free.
I do understand that I had use of them for a longer time, etc… but
somehow that isn't entirely comforting when I think of what they all cost.
Oh well, that's life, and I guess I really only wanted to voice my
thoughts, not complain. And your salesperson handled the issue very
well.
Now that I have 'complained' I'll say that I do like your products a great
deal, appreciate the continuing support you give them, and let it go at
that. Looking forward to the upgrades, and maybe the One Stop Music Shop
if it's all its cracked up to be. ttfn –jp–seattle–
Dear John,
I'm pleased to hear you were treated well by our sales staff. We believe
and always have believed that our customers are our #1 priority.
Although we have included updated and enhanced versions of Tools from some
of our earlier Add-ons, they are but a small addition to the enormous
features and functionality we've added to Bars&Pipes Professional 2.0.
I truly feel that the $99 upgrade fee is fairly priced. For example, we've
completely rewritten and reproduced the entire Bars&Pipes Professional
manual. It's practically doubled in size. We've also added entirely new
capabilities to the program, such as our new Media Madness multi-media
extensions.
The Blue Ribbon SoundWorks is entirely committed to the Amiga marketplace –
something I don't believe you could say about any other music software
company "out there." We have continuously updated our product line and
supported our customers. However, to support you, we need your support!
Get it?
Melissa
P.S. Thanks for your feedback.
