VidEdit is the video editing software that comes on the Video for Windows CD from Microsoft. Sorta simple, but it works. (BTW, also on the CD are BitEdit and PaletteEdit. Simple versions of tools, but sometimes you need simple versions. For instance, BitEdit will save images in the RLE DIB format which other tools I use won't do.) Chuck Jameson Silver Tongue Software

Doug, VidEdit comes with Video for Windows. You have to buy the whole package from Microsoft to get it. It also comes with VidCap (to capture AVI files), WaveEdit, BitEdit, and PalEdit. If youre working with AVI files, you gotta have it. Cost about $150 street (I think). BTW, hows biz? Rick Bennion StudioGraphics Interactive Multimedia

Biz is swamping me. I have finally finished a merger agreement that I have been working on for about a year. Can't say much about it now, but come Aug 1, GRAFX will GROW in size and productivity. After 10 years in this business, I will finally do some marketing. Then we'll see how much business there really is out there. Our 8 person staff is working about 12 hour days on the average and has been since Jan. No let-up in sight. What ever happened to the IBM project? I never heard about it being finished?
