I've been told that a while back there was a discussion about what was the best tape to use with EVO-9650, I would be interested in knowing what the conclusion was. By the way the offer in WHAT'S NEW is for real! If what you need is an inexpensive software controller to do single frame recording, you will be thrilled. I have worked with SoftVTR and Diaquest and know the mechanics of these systems. Both products work as advertised and do the job, but you don't need to spend $1000 +, and if you think its too good to be true, it isn't. The price I'm selling the software for is a fair price, its the other guys that are overpriced. I am doing this because I saved my thousand dollars by doing it myself and realise that not everyone is a programmer, and like the people at Autodesk who blew the competition away by bringing in 3D Studio for $3000 when the competition was selling less worthy packages for $7500 and $10,000, I am doing the same. Call my motive altruistic or love of the art, but if your considering buying an EVO, this sofware to control it is for real and makes it so easy you won't believe it. I also have software for the CRV for those that have access. And again I would appreciate any information on the best tape to use with the EVO – Thanks.
