Is there any way to flip a picture 90 degrees with IP? I've been
looking at the buttons but I can't find this option. Thanks.
Sure; it's under Process/Geometric Operations/90 Degree Rotate.

I think primarily because I use CI$ a *lot*, and on an Amiga which is
pretty well full of expansion; moderate-sized ENLAN networking, IV24,
lots-o-ram, older large HD setup (2090a), CBM 7-port serial card, 2630
w/dkb board, megachip… this system has been extremely stable for me, and
odds are good that anything that doesn't like it is broke, so it's a nice
test bed. Maybe also because Steve and I are both guitar players, or
perhaps because it's July. :^)

I think you got an early crack at AutoPilot because you are a lucky
sonuvagun.<g> I have a friend who is great at finding bugs in software. He
doesn't even own an Amiga but I had him sit down to Flight Simulator and he
wrecked the cockpit view in seconds! That view is a window that he managed
to close and the software would not let him re-open it. His biggest flaw
is that he thinks IBM's are great. (Nobody's perfect. <g>)

I have been thinking about getting the 7 port serial card for my amiga. How
well does it work and what features does it have. Does it only take up one
slot and how are the ports arranged? I guess, just a general discription.

Hardware: The 7-port card takes up only one slot. The I/o connectors are
seven little round connectors on the back; the plugs are slightly too
large for some stupid reason, and I had to take a grinder to them to make
all 7 fit in at once; to date, that has been my only hardware/installation
complaint. Baud rates are strictly comm rates, I _think_, which is to say
I don't think you can MIDI out of the thing (which is fine for me, I use
the main port for MIDI). The manual states that not all types of
handshaking (RTS/CTS, DTR) work and gives a (bogus) reason why. See next
paragraph for later news on this.
Software: The card came with truly abysmal software drivers. However,
being a CBM developer, we were able to pester CATS (unmercifully) and get
the very latest drivers for it, which work not only well, but as far as I
can tell, perfectly. The new drivers support all types of handshaking,
rendering the (stupid) comment in the manual about hardware handshaking
irrelevant and obsolete. Works great under 2.0, I have no idea about 1.3
(is anyone still using 1.3? I hope not!)
Opinion: As a result, I think it was worth every penny; as a consumer
item, I would caution you that without those latest drivers, it's trash,
IMHO… so make sure that somehow (thru your dealer, etc) you can get them
or you'll likely be one sorry puppy. The good news is that they (the
drivers) are done to the point where they work excellently, and I'm sure
they could be "had" with some persistance…. hey, maybe they even pack
them with the board, now.

Any idea of what version the software is. I'd like to be sure I got the
ones that work. I use a Supra V32bis 14400 baud modem on a BBS and would
like to add just one more so I could do my thing with everyone here without
dumping The BBS to do so. That is the only need for the extra serial port.
If the ports are round, how do you connect the normal 7 wire cable or do
special ones come with it???

I don't know the version number, sorry.
The ports are round, allright, but it comes with 7 little cables which
terminate in normal serial connectors, very handy except as I said, I had
to grind the plugs a bit to make them fit right.
