Marion,
I bought the card used. With it came an OAK floppy but no instructions as
to what to do. Here's whats on the floppy:

Whenever I run install (which will unzip the drivers) a help screen comes
up saying "Your VGA adapter card has 2 DRAMS and supports 256 Kbytes of
memory" and lists a few resolutions available. The drivers seem to me to
be for specific applications. I just don't understand why all the memory
isn't recognized.
Unfortunately I don't have too much time to experiment at the moment, but
will appreciate any suggestions.
P.S How do I subscribe to Crossings?

David, welcome to the wonderful (?) world of Intel, MS-DOS and MS-Windows.
You will be saying those words quite often, but in another context. The
reason you're getting that message is thet the VIDEO BOARD, not the BB,
has 246KB of video memory, which has nothing to do with the CPU's main
memory. Think of it as Chip RAM.
