The most excruciating part of it is the utter simplicity of most audio algorithms … but the problem is you need to do thousands of them every millisecond if you want to build up a usable sound. Like Sculpt 3d, it's better to get a rough draft at one resolution and then build the real thing overnight… F'rinstance RGS allows usable but lower quality in realtime, but also higher quality via the "Synth" command. Since I'm on vacation (busman's holiday) I'll probably do some experimentation in audio this week. Der Professor… J H H Lowengard
