Egads. Perhaps Spanish messages might be more appropriate in electronic mail? I thought I'd lost the ability to read momentarily. 🙂 Denny Atkin, Associate Editor COMPUTE's Amiga Resource

Denny, As CompuServe becomes more and more international, I think we will see more and more messages in languages other than English. At least both Rick and Guillermo can understand Spanish. The message doesn't do much for the rest of us, but I bet they get through to each other! I've honed up my French quite a bit by trying to read the messages in that language in a few forums here. And I haven't studied French since long before young fellows like you were born, either. Betty

I think we had just better not start censoring on the basis of language. <dark look> For what it's worth. Ben Amateur Radio Callsign is A A 7 A S

Wayne, The French I remember from school days would not fill half a page! Only one year of it was offered, and the year I took it, the French teacher left suddenly and without warning after the second semester started – so I really had only one semester of French, and received credit for 2 years of it!! Might add that I took that course when I was nineteen years old – a long, long, LONG time ago. However – to answer your question, I'm fine. And a very nice evening to you. Betty

Buena suerte, Rick Rodriguez

Rick, I have no problem with non-english messages. (That would be rejecting my french identity! B^) An easy way to deal with this would be for you to post an english translation of Guillermo's question and your answer afterwards. This way, he can use whatever language he feels comfortable to convey complicated, technical thoughts, and the rest of us still benefit from the Q&A. Blaq! – via Whap!

Charles, I'll try to do so when questions have some greater relevance. Guillermo's message relates to a shipping problem he's having with Imagine 1.1. I don't think too many others will be too concerned with this matter; however, I should have emailed my response in order to keep this thread from expanding any further. –Rick Rodriguez
