A3000 Rom Tower

Hello,
I am having a very difficult time locating a ROM tower for my revision 6.1
A3000 mother board. This is an adaptor that provides sockets for OS roms.
Comodore says go through the dealer and the dozen or so dealers I have
talked to say that they can't get them. When I called C- for help they
asked me two questions and then said get lost: "when did you buy your
amiga?" – "More than a year.", "do you have an extended warranty?" – "No".
"goodbye" – click!
If you have ANY idea where I can get one please let me know.

Are you trying to say that Commodore hung up on you when you asked them a
support question? I find that hard to believe. Though we have had times
when we could not get the tower units you describe, we do get them.
Please send me email with your name and phone number. I will give you a
call.

Well…. OK they didn't exactly hang up. but that's how I felt! The
operator would not answer any of my questions or give me the name of anyone
at C= who could help. She coldly told be that I should contact my dealer
and made it clear with her tone that I was wasting her time. this was after
I told her my dealer had been unsuccessful at trying to get the rom towers.
So, No she did not hang up on me. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression.
