Jan,
the exception and exec library failures are rarely due to the 8520's,
as far as I can tell. Every time I've seen them, it has been due either
to some software that I've added, or to a dirty edge connector on my
accelerator. You seem to have eliminated the former, so I would suspect
the latter. If you can boot the system from a clean disk with no other
software patches, i.e. a program fails directly from the workbench, and
the system still fails, I would really suspect an intermittent or
permanent hardware failure.

Hi Brian,
So you seem to be saying perhaps the 2630 card edge connector could use a
cleaning. I'll try that soon.
Right now I'm expecting a complete ProPage 4.1 upgrade package, as before
I only received a 'patch' disk.
I do also have the problem, though much less frequently in ImageMaster,
ImageFX, and AdPro! It's just that PPage won't even load, so I need to try
everything relative to it.
Thanx for your advice, and I will try cleaning the edge connectors, too!
