Hi, My question sounds so obvious that it sounds stupid, so please tell me if it is: Is there a way, to export a lofter and/or keyframer path as a DXF file? It sure would be nice to be able edit with those paths in ACAD! Is there an IPAS routine that would do the trick? Is path info saved in 3DS ASCII files? … Thanks in advance, Donald

Try KEYDXF.ZIP (which contains KEYDXF_I.KXP). It will write a Keyframer's path to disk as a DXF polyline. – Phil

" Is there a way, to export a lofter and/or keyframer path as a DXF file? " I haven't tried this, but you could save your path to disk. Then, start a new file with a simple box, add the path in the Keyframer to the box, and save the file as a DXF. You can bring the file into ACAD and get rid of the box, then edit the path. Later, bring the path into the Lofter as a DXF file.
