<<<Not to be overly concerned as LW will have a clip to anim crouton which allows sequencing of flyer clips directly to foreground, background, object surfaces, etc. Iff manipulation will be reduced with this routine.>>> Paul You said "will have". I haven't dug into Lightwave that came with the new sequencer, yet. Is this feature in there. Life couldn't be better if it is… BarryVedros ISI

Since that letter, 4.06 has been released. Now you can enter LW and click on the OPTIONS panel. Go to Add Plug-ins and select Plug-ins drawer then enter LightWave drawer and select ClipSaver.p, then return. This will now be installed to your startup sequence for LW. When you enter LW from now on, clips from the Flyer can be loaded directly from your A/V drives. To do this, start up LW and click on IMAGES panel and click next on Load Flyer Clip. Then choose the A/V drive where the clip resides and it will now be available to use as a background, foreground, or image map on an object. Lots of memory on a Warp Engine doesn't hurt either. That reminds me… we now have something new in LightWave to consider. It's segement memory. I typed in a number greater than my machine and it set back at 41.2 megs available for the segmenyt render. It seems you can now use whatever memory is on board for less rendering time. (3.5 only allowed 32megs maximum). My contigious memory is 2 16's on the warp. Mother board has another 16 at 70 ns. Maybe you could try a standard render with your 50 megs in segment work, and let us know how how it compares to say, 32 megs of segment memory. THE VIDEO GUY- a professional video taping service
