Sanford, Oh, _that_ SoCal 3DS users' extravaganza…<g> I thought maybe you were talking about something from Adesk. Actually, I have been talking to Bob Weil about the OC meeting. My only problem is it's a good hour's drive… Thanx, SCL

Stephen, An hour's drive…..yeah, but it has been worth it. LA had a users group, but it deteriorated and dispersed. Funny, since there have to be tons of 3DS users in LA. Maybe they are all recluses! Sanford

Sanford, It may be that at least one of the reasons for the demise of the LA group was their dues/fees. They probably had to charge to pay for the meeting space, but I seem to recall it was like $10 at the door for first-timers, or something like that, and around $50/yr. Consequently, skeptics like me probably stayed away in droves. At least, I know I did. But yes, it is a sad state of affairs. I suppose I'll have to bite the bullet and plan on a once-a-month run down to OC. See you there! SCL

Stephen, I don't like having to fork over cash for every meeting. A seminar….that's different. The So Cal group is pretty solid thanks to Bob. I'll see ya there. Sanford

Greg, If it gives me the opportunity to meet the illustrious mogul of Pyros Pictures, how could I refuse? <g> SCL
