Ill88 & Jasmine-Fatal!!

I am not having any problems running Ill88 off of my Jasmine 45 external
hard drive. I don't use Multifinder and have only 1 meg memory (soon to

Thanks. I just had to reinitialize my Jasmine DD 70. The main symptom was
PostScript code from an Illustrator 88 document appearing in a Navigator
session file; I wasn't running MultiFinder. Disk First Aid confirmed that I
had a problem (it couldn't verify my drive). Having seen messages about a
problem between the Jasmine driver and Illustrator 88 I thought I'd get some
clarification from the sysop or the technical people here.
I Have been using The old Jasmin 80 Drive with Ill88 since Ill88 was beta with
no problems that I can attribute to the drive. I have had problems with the
Adobe Illustrator 88 Preference file located in the system folder. I was
working with Ill88 and found that eveything was black in preview mode, and I
could not change the the color. At first I thought the document was corrupted
but I found moving the document to another machine fixed the problem. After
playing around replacing the Ill88 program etc. I remembered seeing the Pref
file in the system folder. I threw it away and everything started working
properly. Any idea as to what happened?
A funny thing though, The same type of problem occurred at about the same time
on another Mac I know of.
