We recently installed AutoCad R10 c7a XENIX 386 on a 25mhz 386 computer
runing SCO XENIX 2.3.4. Everything except the rotate command seems to be
working OK. Whenever we try to rotate anything we get the message;
FATAL ERROR: Segmentation violation
Does anyone know if there is a fix for this problem?

I struggled with this over a year ago and you will probably find the problem
is not limited to the rotate command.
My fix was to disable "external cache" in 'setup' or CMOS. The machine took
a very slight performance hit but that was minor compared to lockups. One
more culprit can be 'Shadow Ram' trying to share the same spot in memory.
You may be able to configure 'shadow ram' for another address but the best
bet is to get rid of it. Xenix doesn't need to know you have 4 different
types of memory, if it's on the motherboard Xenix will use it.
