Comment tu traduit "Entity Grips" nous autres on a penser a "les
poignes des entites" ca l'air un peut drole d'apres moi.

By the way I've tried this message several times with accents It hangs ATO
or CIS when it hits an accented character…..

It's good to see I'm not the only one on this forum to assinate the
french language <bigtime grin>…. Une prise… well thats not bad "poigne"
is directly translate as a handle..confusing Eh??? I think "prise" is
usually associated in my profession anyway as an Outlet either electrical,
telephone or computer….
By the way translating the grip section has brought up another
problem how do you say warm…. the dictionary says "assez chaud" ok so her
is were we are today….
une poignee chaud
une poignee assez chaud
une poigne froid

Have you tried "tiede" for warm? That seems to make sense to me.
BTW, looking in my dictionary, I found that PRISE is "to grasp", "hold",
"handle". It does sound like an electrical plug to me too!
Let's see:
Cold grip: Une poignee froid – Une prise froid Warm grip: Une poignee
tiede – Une prise tiede Hot grip: Une poignee chaud – Une prise chaud
What I'd like to have is the French International version… How did Adesk
International translate it?

Yeah.. It looks like "Poignee" will be the translation (I even heard
a MAC user use the term today). Some people at hte Big V (Vanier) have
suggested that we use some alternative analogies than hot, warm & cold. But
I think that we will for the time being go with..
poignee chaude
poignee tempide
poignee froide
We are checking into the International Version.. Here in quebec we
have the OLF (Office de la langue frnacise) we should send them the
problem. But don't expect an answer soon Eh….?
