I would like to use an ASCII text file, containing information on keyframe
timestep and object rotations/translations to create a animation. Is this
possible? I have three dummy objects that I would like to control, but I
have a need for almost 2000 keyframes, since this must be a realistic
representation of data returned from a space mission. Any ideas?
You can do this by creating a .VUE file and reading in to the renderer from
the command line. Check out the info on pages B-8 to B-10 of the 3DSr2
manual for more info. Note that we made a couple of mods to .vue files
created by 3DSr2 version 2.01 that make them easier to deal with. Talk to
your dealer about getting an update if you're interested.

PS: The changes are based on how the rotations are formatted within the
file.
