Whoa, what a bargain (most other low-end capture cards start at around $200)! However, it's *extremely* doubtful it both inputs & outputs video. More likely at that price point, it simply inputs video to your hard drive for multimedia purposes (video digitizing for presentations). You may also want to look into how many fps and at what size it can comfortably input to your hard drive, and also how good its image quality and color is (at a guess given the price, not very good…). >If not, what more do I need? I am not looking to make any major investment as this is for personal pleasure only.< Unfortunately, you *do* need a fairly major investment to both input and output digitzed video. You *may* want to consider the $500 StudioMagic (from StudioMagic) which, while I doesn't really input motion video (stills only at this point), works as a good pass-through for titling (it can use all your TrueType fonts as titling fonts, and can output computer graphics to video as well). Also, it has a lot of neat filters for pass-through video footage–including a black&white and a sepia filter–and can do simple A/X roll edits. Hope this helps, Tim Liebe
