#PostScript Problem

Greetings. Have a question for you. I've been having trouble getting a
PageStream2.2 document saved as a Postscript file to print successfully on
a VersiTech 8900 color plotter at a local reprographics house. (Due to the
size of the page, I have to go to these people).
I have the doc set up as 30" x 15" page, and used three colors. I've tried
both Postscript drivers, 2.2.11 and 2.2.99, but they keep telling me the
page comes out blank on their preview screen prior to printing. The
bounding box is there, but no text or anything. I've also tried sending
the file with different settings: with and without adding "color" in the
Special text gadget on the print requester, Mechanical and No Separation,
etc. Still it comes out blank on the other end.
They've told me that if I can send them the file in TIFF they can play
with it, but alas, I don't know of any way to get the file out of
PageStream that way and I'll bet there isn't one.
FYI, they use Smart Color Sun System to "rip," and load it into the
program Posterworks for prining. Any idea what's going wrong? Really need
to sort this out.

They will never see anything but a blank bounding box if they are importing a
PageStream generated PostScript file into a Mac or PC application because the
file is not an EPS file and can't have a preview. And even if you did print it
to disk with the EPS option, which I don't think you did, it still wouldn't
have a TIFF preview because we don't have that feature. So your service bureau
is looking for something that is totally irrelevant.
PageStream 2.22's PostScript output is compatible with all PostScript devices.
The only problems we know of are in printing to Fiery engines, and your service
bureau isn't using one. Because they're not using true Adobe PostScript, it is
possible that our PostScript code is not compatible with it, and in that case,
we wouldn't be able to help you.
I'm not entirely sure where your problem lies because I don't understand your
message fully. You say they only see a blank bounding box. That sounds to me
like they imported your PostScript file into a program to print it from there.
But you also said they were going to rip it first and then load it into another
program to print. If they ripped it, was the output from that blank?
