They will never see anything but a blank bounding box if they are importing a
PageStream generated PostScript file into a Mac or PC application because the
file is not an EPS file and can't have a preview. And even if you did print it
to disk with the EPS option, which I don't think you did, it still wouldn't
have a TIFF preview because we don't have that feature. So your service bureau
is looking for something that is totally irrelevant.
PageStream 2.22's PostScript output is compatible with all PostScript devices.
The only problems we know of are in printing to Fiery engines, and your service
bureau isn't using one. Because they're not using true Adobe PostScript, it is
possible that our PostScript code is not compatible with it, and in that case,
we wouldn't be able to help you.
I'm not entirely sure where your problem lies because I don't understand your
message fully. You say they only see a blank bounding box. That sounds to me
like they imported your PostScript file into a program to print it from there.
But you also said they were going to rip it first and then load it into another
program to print. If they ripped it, was the output from that blank?
