Is there anybody out there still waiting for there scsi controller update from CLtd, I've been wating 5 months now, I am curious if anyone else has waited longer, I keep getting responses from CLtd that they are having production delays; I wish if anyone company cannot keep a promise and there a delay they would at least send some sort of notice that there will be a delay rather than guessing; isn't there some sort of law saying if a company delays putting out a product they must inform their customers; oh by the way the controller update is for the Amiga 1000, one more month and I will ask for my money back! The 1000 Kronos started production about a month ago – I'm told that the 1000 was much harder to do then the 500 or 2000. Early production is slow, and they are backed up on delivery. Ron

Kronos for A1000 is shipping now. Call and check on your order. Mine was shipped to the wrong person, by mistake. No, there is no such law. Call them and check on order. They are quite anxious to please their customers.

Richard, I had to "read the riot act" to them to get my HD. Took a direct threat to send letters of complaint to the BBB, Commodore, and a few others. Once they understood that I was seriously peeved (I'd been waiting for two months!) they got the HD to me within 4 days. (I had called them on a monday and told them to have it to me on friday, or else.) I must say, once I got the silly thing it was VERY easy to use. Just plug it in and it runs! Compared to the backwards handsprings that I've heard other HD purchasers go through after getting their HDs, I'm exceptionally pleased with CLtd. In short, if it's from CLtd, it's a good product, but don't be suprised at a long delay. If it goes over 6 weeks, get them on the phone directly and browbeat them. Genteelly, but don't let them give you the "it'll be there in 5 days" shtick. I will probably be purchasing a second drive from them in the middle future. When I call them up, I will require a hard delivery date from them. If they want, they can deliver it before then, but if it's even one day late, the letters of complaint will be sent. I will make CERTAIN they understand this when I call them. Then I'll set back and see what happens. Enjoy! Edwin Wiles – …!uunet!hadron!netex!elw – Software Engineer
