Dear Famous,
I just sold my sailboat or I would use the Sony 1302 as an anchor. Sony won't
let their customers get near a technician. You get to talk to a girl in the
sales office who relays your message to a more senior person who then explains
your problem (third hand) to a technician. He (the senior person) then call
the girl whom I talked to and then she call me. Some system! Some lousy
customer support. I have concluded, by talking to myself , the the monitor is
NG. "NG"…that's Japanese for NO GOOD. Now I can drive 30 miles to a Sony
service center and then what?
No problems with line voltage. Just a teeny picture. Like maybe it is the in
thing. Everything teency. Baby carrots, baby corn, baby scalops, baby
salmon…now baby Sonys!
I would take it back to the dealer but it worked fine there with an IBM and a
color card. I guess I'll have to buy another boat. Yes, I read about you in
"Transactor"!
