Don, I was wondering if you had heard anything about the Macintosh and Atari ST emulators for the Amiga? This rumor has been floating around for a couple of weeks and I have been able to substantiate in a number of places (including BIX). It seems that they are produced by a company in England called A.I.R. Ltd. and this company does exist (I called and got an answering machine). The other info that I picked up, states that they each cost 30 pounds and that they utilize the 68010 for the speed increase.

I too heard those rumors, and my best source says the company is named Ahmed Research International, in England, run by a guy named Shahid Ahmed. They claim to have an ST Emulator for the Amiga, priced at 15 pounds, or about $25. They supposed have Macintosh and C-64 emulators as well. They say the price is so because they want it to be a loss leader for the other emulators. I heard another rumor that said they want to blast them out to make a quick buck before anyone's lawyers can stop them. Frankly, it sounds like more PC/ET and C-64 emulator smoke and mirrors. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for these.
