#Gomf3.0
2 messages in this thread
Allstartup-sequence as manual shows (stack 1000 , run > nil: gomf3.0 ,stack 8000)
then I attempt to copy Gomf3.0 onto disk…the copy goes about 3 secs. then I
get a READ/WRITE error prompt that connot be stopped without re-boot… but
upon re-booting the disk reads fine, no error messages, and there is a file on
the disk of gomf3.0. So believing that Gomf3.0 IS present, I attempt to
intentionaly GURU the Amiga…when I do… I cannot get the GOMF3.0 prompt…
just a standard guru…then I must reboot. I believe that the problem is on my
end and not GOMFF3.0, since I can run it directly from the disk properly… any
possible solutions ???

John,
NO space between the > and the 'nil:' so it should look like:
run >nil: gomf3.0
Now, as to the r/w error…is that disk ok? Try copying another file
onto it and see if you get the same error. leave the current version of gomf
there. In fact, just for a test, what I'd do is copy gomf onto the disk under
another name so it doesn't try to overwrite the existing version.
If that works ok, then remove the version that failed during the copy
and rename the test version you just copied in.
