Hi everybody!! My name is Dawn Kernagis. I am currently a senior in high school, and I will be attending the University of Chapel Hill next year. I would like to continue into the study of Hydrogeology. I am considering transferring to North Carolina State University my junior year to study Geology, but I will wait and see. Can anyone tell me a good school that offers graduate study in the area of Hydrogeology??? Thanks!! Regards , Dawn Kernagis

Hi, Dawn– Welcome to the forum/section! Being an amateur in these matters, I have no notion myself. Others here are pros who may come up with an answer, so watch this space. But notice also the usenet newsgroup sci.geo.hydrology is accessible from CompuServe (see SCIGEO.TXT in this forum's library for my notes on using newsgroups from CIS) – with a name like that it has to have people focused on your specific field. –Doug

Dawn, I just discovered that as of this year the University of California at Davis is offering undergraduate studies in Hydrological Sciences. Coming out here to California may not be what you had in mind but it goes to show that there are schools that do teach Hydrology. Hopefully, one day I'll be attending Davis myself. Good luck, Doug
