Being relatively new to the forum, and the use of Compuserve forums in general, I would appreciate suggestions on how to best target members who could give their opinions on specific digital editing systems. i have an opportunity to purchase a full D/Vision 2.2 s system including hardware and software, and a complete rack mount system for about 1/2 the touchvision retail price. To be used strictly for industrial on line, and broadcast off line. Any help available for this? I would greatly appreciate. Thanks for your time. C.J. May

Hi Chris, I belive D/Vision has a forum here on CIS. You might want to try a search for either DVISION or CINIWORKS and see what happens. Hope this helps, Michael W. Towe Falcon Video Productions Santee Ca.

Type Go DVISION, we're in the ULTI-MEDIA TOOLS section of compuserve. What kind of help do you need? D/Vision is a terriffic system for your purpose. It's being used by Andersen Consulting, 3M, AT&T, Mercedes, Caterpillar, many branches of the armed services and other major companies as industrial on-line and broadcast off-line. It' s also great for creating digital video clips for integration into multi-media applications. Since it is IBM based, there are many opportunities for technological advances (Faster drives, SCSI, etc.) and your risk of obsolescence is greatly reduced. Go for it! Sounds like a great deal.

Hey Mark, How's it goin'? How's things at Touchvision? You got an icy winter back there in Chicago? Sorry I never called you back, but I've been in a pinch for the last five weeks. Just spent two days without sleep to meet a deadline, and now its met. I went with the Montage, but that's not to slam your system. I quite enjoyed using it. I hear NAB is gonna be the battle of the online NL's. Is this true from where you sit? Best, CJH
