Chris,
yes, I also tired to print a picture dl'd from here the imported into Pro
Page. That was in december 89. I've been trying to get in touch with Gold
Disk Customer Support (what a misnomer!!) every business day sinc the
problem occurred, usually 3 – 5 times a day. They phone is either busy or
not answered ( I let it ring 20 -40 times; what foritdue they have…I want
to destroy my phone after the 5th ring…). Sorry to say, even if you do
figure out how to get through to them, they generally are not helpful at
all.

If you want to send me your disk – I figure out your problem.

It's probably not in the file. I was using the Gold Disk Newsletter file
that comes with the tutorial.
It just occured to me that I should probably try printing in HP mode rather
than PostScript. All the work they did getting ProPage to work with the HP
and Compugraphic may have caused them to miss testing some of the
PostScript stuff.
As for Customer Support, GD has a whole lot of new products on the market.
My guess is that they have over extended themselves. I'm trying to put my
complaints all together in a list and mail them off. That will probably
get more attention than the telephone….

Wayne, are you calling the 800 number? I've never had a problem
getting through, ever.

Ethan,
The last time I called the 800 number they told me they had not connection
with tech support since it was in Buffalo and to call the 416 828 5636
number. Thats the one they leave off the hook during normal business
hours. I've also written them. Funny thing is, the only correspondance that
ever gets through to them is the stuff with checks in it! The bug reports
just magically never seem to get there?!?
