Montesa aren't the developers of any IPAS routines. They produce their entire software for theirselves, but don't work with 3DS. They are probably one of the best animation companies in Europe and in the world. And their software is awesome. I just hope to hear that they have become involved…

I think it is a matter of tastes. I know people that use styler, other shop, we both 🙂 As primary features, I found styler to be faster than shop and have a better memory managment. Styler 2.0 don't have anything in common with 1.1a. But I'm sure that pshop…

They have their program running in the Silicon Graphics and they say that it will be a hit for the PC market. They were showing an impressive demo on the SGI (it was under the desk, you only can see the monitor). They basically explain how metaballs work and talk…

Read my message to Don Landis, Gary. We work with prints (directly from our dye-sub and work for press in digital formats -using the Kodak as a proofing device). However, we also work with video and animation. Different media, different methods, different tools, different sciences 🙂 Color managment is a…

Hello ladies and gentlemen. It's me, again with some exciting news. Could this be possible? I have arrived to Spain yesterday (this is cold). I will be here for a couple of days and then return to the sunny Miami (of course, these are not the exciting news). The thing…

Hi Don, A little late, but here I'm. We have the 2.5 version of Photoshop and the 2.0 of PhotoStyler. Both great programs, and I think that Photostyler is superior to photoshop. I believe that PhotoShop 2.5 only beat styler in the filters, but Styler is simpler and have better…

Greg, We work with 25MB for press work and we have to use Windoze because the only programs that do what we want a program to do are in that enviroment. And we are happy with the apps (not with Windows 🙂 However, expect Windows to be the next standard…

I am not sure, Greg. The thing is actually very new, priced nearly $600. They use a kind of DOS and Windows interface instead of trying to emulate the chip. That is the reason what they are getting (or claim to get) 486 performance. Regarding WABI, I don't know if…

I think it is not the same program. I mean, there is another SoftPC who emulates a 286. But this thing is something new (maybe). It seems that works moreless the same wame as the SunSelect WABI (Windows App. Binary Interface?). They claim top 486 performance (but maybe you must…
