Hope you don't consider ME a 'typical' Amiga dealer, then! 😉 I hate the rumors almost as much as I loathe the ads for non-existent products and non-existent Amigas. I DO, however, have an A4000 in stock! Physically really here.
I know of more than one verifiable bad experience with Computer Answers of Canada. Beware.
Apparently there are CD32's about to become available and some large quantities which have been purchased by specialty users recently which won't be resold directly as CD32's.
I'll bet this was part of the details, but someone who's probably a silent financial backer wants it in triplicate so it's understandable. Nothing happens as fast as we'd like – I once sold a patent myself.

Apparently some current delay involves detailed research on who really owns what as of now – namely, Commodore's patents, what they cover, their validity, their transferability, etc. A legal matter that may indeed account for a few more weeks delay.
