Definitely the 256K. It's cheaper ($95 from 3rd parties), and RAM can be used to simulate a drive, but not vice versa. Many Amiga programs require 512K. Not many require 2 drives, though nearly all are more convenient with a 2nd drive (especially compilers!) – Bela
