Bob, the Marantz writer was one of the first (if not THE first CD recorder). Writing CD-DA only it had a digital audio input to get the data to it. Peter

Don, if the buffer of the CD-R is still empty during the TCAL nothing will happen as the CD-R will wait until it's buffer is full before starting to write. Sincerely Peter

In fact, a Joliet disk will contain two file systems: The primary file system which is described by the PVD is strictly ISO 9660 level 1 and the secondary file system which is described by a SVD contains file and directorynames in UNICODE. Sincerely Peter

Brenda, the toshiba drive needs a special command to read XA disks. Look out in the Windows NT forum here on CompuServe (i think it's GO WINNT). There should be a driver there for the Toshiba drives enabling readback of XA disks. Sincerely Peter
Pollyanne, you did not write, which software package you are using. If you are using WinOnCD ToGo! you can select the Verify option which will compare all files on your CD file by file using MSCDEX which I think is exactly what you are looking for. Sincerely Peter
I think almost any Windows 3.1 software is running under Windows '95. And Georges is right: According to Microsoft, a program that declares to be a Windows '95 program must also work under Windows NT otherwise it will not be certified by Microsoft. Sincerely Peter
