Hi Chris. I'm now looking at the June issue of Pc Sources which is telling me that a standard 486/50 is 15% faster than a 486sx/25 with a chip doubler (486dx2). With Intels' different brands of Processors it becomes a dizzying choice. Resellers are eager to point out that for…
I've read a little about Tempra Pro, and wonder if anyone's used it. Are you familiar with it? If anyone else reads this are you familiar with it? BCG
And what is a rising back camera? Is this better than a camera and pc? Thanks for the feedback Grahame…BCG

specifically Martin, I'm thinking of projects like adding a the picture of an existing Deck onto someone's house without the need to Draft it. Simply take video stills of the house and the Deck and put them together. I'm also thinking of being able to add blinds, curtains, shelving, etc.…
Thanks for the reply Martin. I'm considering using 3ds as a preview to before and after looks of all kinds. But I'm trying to decide if 3ds is the way to go. I would like to be able to take frame captured images of houses, cars, and anything else whose…
Thanks for the feedback Noah. Can you tell me if you're using a Frame Capture board? I'm not familiar with 3ds and I'm wondering to what extent you can manipulate images that were brought into 3ds, say with a video camera. Thanks again for the info….BCG
Just wondering who is using 3dstudio, and for what kinds of projects? Does a user have to be an artist to get the most out of this program? Thanks for any feedback…BCG

In my wildest fantasies Phil I was initially hoping that there would exist a program that would receive video directly and convert it to a rendered image, but I guess I'll have to wait a little longer for that scenario. Oh well, as soon as I can weasel some funds…

Looking for feedback concerning the use of CAD and rendering packages to be used for showing homeowners what their renovations will look like. What software, hardware, etc. would be best for this type of work? Any replies would be greatly appreciated….BCG

I appreciate your time in answering some of my questions, Steven. I'm already familiar with some of the business ideas with regard to pricing. I was just echoing my frustration at not having such information at my fingertips. Once again I appreciate your input….BCG

My concern with the homeowner Steven came about when I was thinking of all the times my wife and I would wonder which pattern looked best under specific situations? Would earthn tones, and flowers look good in a semi modern kitchen? Or better in a small T.V. room with Colonial…

Thanks for the reply Phil! One of my main concerns Phil is how to accomplish the task. I was thinking that a homeowner would call saying they were redesigning their kitchen and were undecided as to which of two or three patterns of wall tiles would look best on the…

I'm looking for hardware and software that can create a 3-d image of a person and then analyze their dimensions. It would be even better if the software could do its' analysis on a persons' video image. Any leads would be greatly appreciated….BCG
