I have a Targa+64 for sale, like-new, with all manuals, drivers, demo s/w, cables, etc. I was using it for software development (throw in the SDK), not for production work. See my message, "Targa+64 For Sale".

I have an almost new Targa+64 for sale, with all updated drivers and demo software, manuals, cables, etc. I am asking $1500, but would bundle a 19" LP monitor & like-new JVC S-VHS deck and give a better price. (Bundle at $3000 OBO, not including shipping.)
Your original posting scrolled off the section pretty quickly. I have a friend interested in rendering projects fast. Since you mentioned Abekes, may I assume that you are offering D1 output to 8mm tape, too? Please re-post your original message, or else leave me private mail regarding service charges and…

Gee, that's a thought. (Actually, I have considered just that — but the AutoDesk software is where our company is committed.) I haven't seen an Amiga that will run ACAD r12 or Excel, yet. — Hence the hope for WinNT in 3DS's future :^) Have a good Thanksgiving. David P.
The problem seems to be with Truevision. They will probably discontinue the TV1024-32 due to product overlap with their new parent company — Raster-Ops. They are not inclined to write it themselves because of this, and as an 'orphan' video board, the 3rd party support will not come fast, or…
Sorry. I did just a couple of days ago, and it already scrolled off the forum. I will probably post again soon. Have a good Turkey Day :^) David P.
I have a slightly used (for driver development) Targa+64 for sale. Asking $1500. Also have a suitable 19" RGB 'materials' monitor that displays to 1024×768 interlaced (long-persistance). Asking $1200. Bundled price of $2600. David P. CIS:70461,3476
Interesting compliment to Microsoft (and Phar Lapp). The big question might be: "A port of 3D-Studio to WinNT would allow the use of faster (and maybe more) processors, such as NewTek's Screamer. Might that not provide a greater inducement than just having access to all available memory?" David P.
Thanks for the info. Actually, I was under the impression that TIGA-based boards relied upon a DOS real-mode driver. There is none with the 1024-32. Truevision supplies an ADI v4.0 driver that works great with 3DSr2, but does NOT work with 3DSr3. Your Vibrant Video driver works okay with the…

3DSr3 & TV1024-32

I work for a company that has committed to Truevision 1024-32 graphics boards. There seems to be a problem — Truevision has not written an ADI v4.1 or ADI v4.2 driver for this card, so we can't use the 1024-32 as the render or materials (24bit) display. If anyone out…
Thanks for the info. I was hoping to be able to use MSC7, but it's not 32-bit. I will D/L your file and check it out, too.

I am keenly interested in developing some extensions to 3DS for my company. The scope of the extensions may require PharLap to run. (Before I kick out some $$$), does the IPAS Toolkit work with PharLap, and if so, which version? Or, is there another multimedia toolkit available from Autodesk…
