Imagine being able to render directly to a DAT tape drive. Achieve up to 8gb of additional storage for as little as $20. It's here at long last. A Revolutionary Idea….. We taught a tape drive to behave like a disk!! RENDER-TO-DAT turns your slow conventional DAT drive into a…
Alec, I guess $795 is a little to much to ask for an 8gb Hard Drive ! Shaun
Alec, No normally with any tape backup software you can not assign a drive letter to it. That's what makes the RENDER-T0-DAT software unique! You install a small TSR, format your tape (if unformatted for RENDER-TO-DAT), then mount the drive. That Simple!! We tested the speed against ArcSolo on our…

Brick, Failures have occured over almost a 2 year period. Since Micropolis came out with the high RPM drives. None of which in a PAR system. Maybe their drives are best suited for the PAR system.
David, Thanks for your response. The first failure was in a machine after 6 weeks. Replaced with a Toshiba and has work flawlessly after 1.5 years. The others were all in differnet systems. I too have been doing this long enough to diagnose other problems as well as just replace…
May all be so, except for us 6 failures out of 6 drives is a little to much to tolerate.
Greg, We have a minium of 7 machines on-line. A combination of 486DX-66s' and P5-90s' with 32 meg each. We can and do add more systems as needed. The single biggest problem we have now is HD space on the server. Have 3.5gb, but that is too small, waiting for…
Ted, Oh really !!! How about a drive that allows for a 100 Block size !! Shaun
Tim, I personally wouldn't use a Micropolis drive if it was the last drive mfg on the planet. There are better solutions available !! Shaun
Marius, On second thought, due to time, here is the info: Render and Output to Tape: $75 Setup Charge (Render charge may increase with fewer frames – decrease with more) Render Frames: 25 cents per frame Render Frames by Field: +5 cents per frame Output to 1/2" SVHS 25 cents…

Michael, If the graphics board is not supported by the Vibrant Video drivers you have two options. 1) There are new Vibrant drivers that I believe you can download here, then your card may be supported. or 2) You can install the DOS VESA driver for your card to add…
Marius, How many frames? Shaun
Dave, Good question, haven't had time to schedule one in I guess. Shaun
Dave, Hi !! Been awhile, everything okay? Been up to anything exciting? You need to stop by and see MAX !! Shaun
Gayle, I am the Technical Support Manager for Aerodata Computer in Plymouth, MI. I am really not a 3DS user and am not that familier with it. I have however configured our first MAX system. It has been up and running since mid-August. We (I) have done numerous video jobs…
