If the local dealer has a bridgeboard, I'll test it with Turbo Pascal. Metacomco is a real pascal, not much in common with Turbo if you do anything fancy. I have been programming with Turbo for years and love it. Somewhere I read that a company is making a "Turbo…

As I recall, it asks which drive you wish to use, df0: through df3:. As I have only 0 and 1, the others are ghosted. I have never tried df0:, but I assume it works. One note: take any disks out of the drive before you click in the gadget…

I am using 3.0 with I don't know what controller in the C-Ltd adaptor. I was aware of the speed increase and will buy the new board for that reason. My question was about autobooting. I use FastDisk on my boot disks so there is no floppy grinding. So, if…

Using a patch (on a Fish disk) to the PCutils that came on your Extras disk, you can format a 3.5" disk in MSDOS 360k format, which the laptop would recognize. Then you could use the copy program in PCutils to bring it in to AmigaDos. Simple and FREE.

I have a question – why would I want autobooting? I currently have the C Ltd controller and a 65 meg drive. Booting from floppy with a full WB 1.3 type startup-sequence plus some other stuff takes less than 40 seconds from power-on. After I reformat the drive to get…

Sorry, I meant the 2 meg board from Spirit Technology. I don't recall it's proper name. The board is very small, uses 256k x 4 chips, and worked perfectly with a C Ltd controller for the borrowed hard drive. There is an external power supply available for the memory board…
